Allow for Change

There are several ways that make it easy to modify registration from one performance to the next:

• Use PENCIL.
• Use PERMANENT LABELS of a neutral color in spots where repeated erasures would otherwise wear through the score. Cut to size.
• Use REMOVABLE ADHESIVE NOTES (such as “Post-Its”). It is often useful to cut them down to size, using only the sticky portion and discarding the rest. These tend to fall off easily, making them most useful for short-term or temporary applications.
• Use REMOVABLE LABELS if removable adhesive notes are too fragile. Cut to size.
