Practice Plan

As you practice these steps, let time work with you instead of against you. After completing a certain step, write down near the section marker the date and the tempo that you reached, and then work on something else. Come back to that section later, bringing it up to the same standard (or beyond) for at least three practice sessions in a row. Increase the tempo only gradually (2-5 beats per minute) as it becomes easier to reach the previous tempo.

Above all, do not hurry towards the final step, in which you must combine all three parts.
