Hymn Project 4

For Hymn Project 4 choose one of the following from the workbook:

• “Redeemer of Israel” (Dulcimer)
• "Nearer, My God, to Thee" (Bethany)
• “Blest Be the Tie” (or “How Gentle God's Commands”) (Dennis)
• “Silent Night” (Stille Nacht)

For Hymn Project 5 choose another of those listed above, or consider the following:

• "God, Our Father, Hear Us Pray" (Mercy) (in the workbook)
• A hymn from Three-Stave Hymn Accompaniments
• another easy hymn with instructor approval

For Hymn Project 4 it is recommended that you practice from a score that is prepared for practice such as those found in the workbook or in Hymn Studies for Organists by Dr. Parley Belnap. However, you should play your finished hymn for your instructor from your own prepared score out of a hymnbook.

Play an introduction and all verses, using at least two changes of registration.
